We have been lucky again this year to have a visit from Bob Holsman who made a presentation to all S3 pupils on the life of a World War 1 soldier. 

Bob brings with him a mix of original and replica equipment which would have been common to see in a front line trench 1914 – 1918.  The pupils were treated to two presentations and attended in house groups. 

Later in the day, Bob held a discussion group with English and History pupils where they could get a closer look at the equipment and have a question and answer session.  Lots of different departments have been involved in this event as well as in many other events planned around the school to be held to in commemoration of the 90th anniversary of the end of The First World War.
