One very practical way to support the school and which can involve a
larger number of parents and staff is through fundraising activities.
Our Parent Council is seeking to raise £8,000 for school causes over the
coming session through our main fundraising campaign.

We have been given a watercolour of ‘Bennachie from Meldrum Academy’ by
Mrs Irene Flint, PT Art & Design, and the Parent Council will sell the
‘virtual image’ to raise funds for the school.

BUY A PIXEL, WIN A PICTURE
When we have sold all the pixels then this handsome framed watercolour will be won by the ‘lucky’ owner of one pixel. We will also offer framed prints to five other lucky winners.
In a typical computerised image there are approximately 800,000 pixels. We will ‘sell’ this to parents and friends of Meldrum Academy at a cost of 1p per pixel. So £10 pounds will buy you 1,000 pixels. All proceeds will go to fund activities and events which are designed to have a positive impact on our children's education and overall learning."
