Meldrum Academy Rugby team trains every Monday night from 4.00 until 5:30.

Meldrum rugby currently consists of 4 teams; the under 18’s, the under 16’s, the under 14’s and the girls team.

This year the SRU (Scottish Rugby Union) decided to alter the year grouping so that no player will play against another with an age difference of more than 2 years.

Previously the age groups were S1-3 and S4-6 and girls whereas this year the age groupings are S1-2, S3-4, S5-6 and the girls team.

Meldrum rugby has entered in the Brewin Dolphin Cup (formerly the Bell Lawrie Cup) and the Scottish Schools Cup, in which all four teams are entered in.
