Performing Arts hosts the Rotary ‘Young Musician of the year Competition’ each year.

We usually have a school show at Christmas – previous years have been:

              Jack’s Christmas

              The Sound of Music

              Scrooge

              Cinderella

              Alice’s Adventures

              Hairspray……

To name but a few!

We often host visits from outside musicians such as members of the Scottish Chamber Orchestra, Richard Ingham, a performer/teacher/composer of jazz.

                                Advanced Higher Composing Workshop

Our S6 Advanced Higher pupils took part in Musicworks, a series of composition workshops in conjunction with the Scottish Chamber Orchestra.    The end result was a CD with their compositions – performed by members of the SCO!
